Guard of honour held for Copa del Rey winners Real Sociedad
Valencia CF held a guard of honour for opponents Real Sociedad at Mestalla on Matchday 30, congratulating the Basque side on succeeding them as Copa del Rey winners. The team had themselves won the trophy in 2018/19.

The players also wore black armbands and held a minute's silence before kickoff, in memory of Cipriano Gonzalez Rivero ‘Ñito’, who played for Valencia CF between 1963 and 1966, and José María Abad Aparicio, a season ticket holder for more than 70 years.
